Google Cloud has landed a strategic multi-year contract with NATO's Communications and Information Agency, deploying its air-gapped Distributed Cloud platform for classified military applications. The sovereign infrastructure will process AI-driven defense workloads without internet connectivity across 30 member states.

The solution marks a significant advancement in secure data processing for alliance operations. By combining offline AI analytics with military-grade isolation, NATO gains capacity for complex simulations at its Joint Analysis, Training and Education Centre without compromising sensitive intelligence.
